Consumer Health Data Notice

This notice is for people in the United States. It describes consumer health data in the Ritmai iPhone app, under Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada and Connecticut. The privacy policy covers everyone.

Who we are

Ritmai is run by Vizuali terapija, MB, a small partnership registered in Lithuania, legal entity code 304245530, at Ežero g. 4A, Kurnėnų k., LT-64233 Alytaus r., Lithuania. Write to [email protected].

What counts

Consumer health data here means information that identifies you, or could reasonably be linked to you, and that concerns your health. In Ritmai that can include what you eat, how you slept and felt, body and cycle entries, and Apple Health readings such as heart, activity and body weight.

Ritmai on iPhone has no account. The record you save is stored on your iPhone. Apple Health readings are read only if you allow them in the Health app, and those readings are not sent to our servers.

What we collect, and why

We collect consumer health data only for the features you use, and only when you ask for them. That request is your permission.

We do not collect consumer health data to advertise, and we do not sell it. We do not share it so that other companies can advertise to you. The companies that help us run the features above are listed in the privacy policy: Neon, Cloudflare, Google, RevenueCat and Apple. RevenueCat and Apple learn whether Ritmai Plus is active. They are not sent your meals or your Health readings.

Your choices

Nothing is sent until you ask for a meal estimate or open Ideas. You can always enter nutrition by hand instead, and then nothing about that meal leaves your iPhone. You can refuse Apple Health in the Health app. You can erase the record stored on your iPhone from Settings. The app has no button that sends you a file of that record.

You can ask us to confirm whether we hold consumer health data linked to you, to send you a copy of what we can find, to delete it, or to stop collecting it. Write to [email protected]. You may ask yourself, or through someone you have authorised in writing. We will reply within one month. If we refuse, write again and ask us to reconsider. You can also complain to the Washington State Attorney General, or to the attorney general of the state where you live.

Unlinked meal samples have no name on them. We cannot find yours to show it or delete it. Those samples are deleted automatically within 90 days.
